Gift Baskets From Michigan For the Holidays

Tastes of Michigan Gift BasketWith the holidays fast approaching, gift baskets are a convenient way to give Michigan products. Andrew Norton saw the opportunity, and started Gift Baskets From Michigan, LLC in October 2002. He explains, "for about two years it seemed like my wife and I were going to a couple of weddings a year and we wanted to bring a gift that was unique. So, we started creating our own gift baskets filled with only Michigan products and they were so well received that we started thinking this could be an interesting business to run."

In time for Christmas, they're offering themed baskets available through their website - a few standards, along with a couple of new baskets this year. You'll also be glad to know that 1% of all sales go to the Food Bank Council of Michigan, a statewide agency that helps feed those in need. Andrew adds, "we are glad to be able to help them in their mission to keep folks from going hungry. In a state surrounded by agriculture it is a shame that anyone should go hungry" - an idea very much in keeping with the Christmas season. At Gift Baskets From Michigan, their customer service philosophy is simple: "If you can't find just the right basket, give us a call and we can work together to customize a basket for you. It makes our day when we can do something to help a customer."  >>>
